Jimi Hendrix Octavio Octave Up Effect A true Rock N’ Roll artifact—Hendrix’s chipped, off-white, “cheese wedge” pedal with hand stenciled lettering—is enshrined at the Experience Music Project, Seattle’s hallowed rock and roll museum. Jimi’s original octave dividers don’t look like much, but these magic boxes produced the unforgettable fuzzed-out octave tones heard on the legendary Band of Gypsys: Live at Fillmore East performance. Recently a team of Dunlop engineers made a pilgrimage to Seattle to examine and document an original Octavio—the holy grail of octave tone. They measured and scoped with loving care. The result The Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio is an exact clone of the amazing “octave up” pedal that Jimi used to make rock history. Turn the LEVEL knob all the way to minimum (full counter clockwise) and you will hear and feel a "click" that switches the units power off, just like the original unit. Vintage-inspired octave-up fuzz at it's finest!

The Dunlop JH-OC1 Jimi Hendrix Octavio is a great effect for capturing those octave-up fuzz tones. It excels best when played around the twelfth fret in the neck position. In this setting, you achieve incredible octave-up tones with lots of sustain and chime. When playing in the bridge position, you can almost double the octave-up by raising it nearly two intervals. This makes for some of the most psychedelic tones you've ever heard! The Dunlop JH-OC1 is perfect for the Hendrix enthusiast or those looking for a truly unique, out-of-this-world effect. It's very sturdily and should have no problem withstanding normal use and abuse.
