Durham Electronics Zia Drive Pedal Demo (06:13)
Didn't know much about this pedal and got it on a recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised. Low gain dirt pedal with elements of TS in there as well as a subtle Klon vibe but really quite an individual pedal. Liked it. Go check em out where I get tons of stomp boxes new and used, www.guitarguitar.co.uk. Tell em I sent ya!

What is a Zia Drive? A very tight low compression overdrive pedal designed to be that perfect rhythm guitar box.

If you hate the feeling of sag in your fingers this is the box for you. It takes your 6L6 or 6V6 amp and gives it the chime of an EL84. If you have an EL84 amp it will boost that bottom end and make it sing at lower levels.

Early 70's Stones fans will love the ZIA!!

THIS THING IS GREAT! I have had many high-end, boutique pedals, many very nice, but anything that has said "DURHAM" on it has far exceeded the others. Started with the "Sexdrive", for me best I've ever owned. Then was reading about EJ, Sexton, Bramhall, etc and decided to try the Zia. In a word AWESOME! Very organic and touch sensitive. Caress the strings and the Zia will sparkle, dig in and she'll snarl. Lets my amp come through, very transparent(like the Sexdrive). I can see this being a "leave-on" pedal very easily as it works so well with the amp like it is part of it. Makes individual notes "pop" out of the chord very nicely. Tone knob is tone-friendly and usable. Those of you that have not tried DURHAM pedals, do yourself a favor, you won't regret it. The Zia is great!
