Excellent Job, One MINOR Issue

This pedal is great. Bright, accurate, fantastic.

One minor thing:

When the nut gets loose on the footswitch, which is bound to happen over the years, it's a pain in the butt to tighten. Can't do it with your fingers because the nut is recessed, so you need a socket wrench to do it any justic.

Along with that, it OCCASIONALLY, maybe one out of every 9 stomps, will not activate/turn off, which can bite during a gig when you are using it to kill your signal or want to come back in after a quiet part and it takes a measure before you realize, "Crap! My tuner didn't turn off!"

But I still have it on my board. So I do love it.

excellent, easy to use tuner, main reason I bought it was for the true bypass. Does exactly what it says on the tin and looks cool too

The Pitch Black tuner is a wonderful tuner and very easy to use. Put it at the beginning of you pedal chain, press the button, and get instant tuning.

Though I have never found this to be a problem, some guitarist might not like the tuner for one reason. ....

The Pitch Black only has the option of silent tuning. Other companies usually have two line outs on their tuners; one for silent tuning and one to be able to tune and still have signal to your amp.

Personally, I love the silent tuning mode because besides using the pedal for tuning I press tuner the tuner on to break the signal for a quick guitar switch if I need it. Example: You're on stage and break a string .... You can quickly shut the amp off and grab your spare guitar.

Also as an older guitar (the over 40 crowd) the display is nice and big ... Very easy to see from the floor!
