Mad Professor Snow White Bass Auto Wah

Hand-made in Finland premium quality bass auto wah pedal.

The SNOW WHITE BASS AUTOWAH (SWBAW) circuit is based on a 1991 BJF rack mount remote wah circuit and is tuned like a real wah. The circuit was redesigned with envelope controls and built into small size pedal. It has very fast tracking and accuracy rarely found on auto wahs/ envelope filters. With the four knobs you can have total control of the effect. SWBAW is designed for bass and you can fine-tune the pedal to suit your instrument, your playing style and your taste of tone. The pedal has a unique decay control for the filter frequency fall speed. You can set it to be fast for wah effects on every note, or slower for a more traditional auto wah sound.

SWBAW is hand made in Finland using only premium compo-nents, to give years of trouble free operation with superb musical tone.

I also have a Beigel Tru-Tron 3X, so I can say that the Snow White and Tru-Tron 3X are 2 very different animals at the same price point! At first, I had to really spend some time just playing with the knobs, then trying to get the same sounds that are on the YouTube vids until I finally just started playing more aggresively. Then it really came alive! Beautiful, funky wah!!! It has a real "chunk" to it's wah which is great fun to tweak the knobs and fine tune. The Tru-Tron has a much wider frequency range when set for the same kind of wah. More hi-fi, and you can do a few more things like getting that "mu" (wah down) and choose the filter range (wah the lower OR high frequencies) at the flip of a switch. I would listen and play with both pedals before choosing any wah/envelope filter. They all have their pros and cons. I keep both the 3X and Snow White on my pedal board because I can get two totally different wah sounds at the tap of of my foot.
