Classic optical compressing sound with smooth attack and decay, further more, it preserves the original signal transients perfectly.

I've bought or demoed a lot of compressors the last two years (Mad Professor, Pigtronix, Ibanez, CMatmods, Boss clone etc) and this is the one I'm the happiest with. Very sturdy input section so it stays clean, a useful and effective EQ control and a wide range in the amount of compression. I'm done looking and will only replace this Mooer if I stumble across something very good indeed.

A supposed clone of another popular yellow compressor it is a perfect out of the way optical compressor without too much squish or noise...just nice for improving my cleans and overdrive sounds. I am a compressor junkie and have most of them and this one has stayed on my board. Great build quality too...

So this makes my 4th Moor pedal and they continue to impress. Small footprint, easy controls and fantastic tone round out the package. Let's face it- it is a compressor and does the job. As soon as I plugged it in I went for Tom Petty's "American Girl" and it was pretty much what I was going for, and followed up with Smashing Pumpkins' "1979" and was not disappointed. Looking for a sub $90 compressor? Get it...

It's a compressor. No fancy bells and whistles. It does the job. The eq is a nice touch over my dynacomp. Mooer is putting out some really fun and inexpensive pedals. Notice I didn't say cheap, all the pedals I've tried have been great.
