SolidGoldFx Apollo Phaser (14:56)
$250 http://www.prymaxevintage.com/solidgoldfx-apollo-phaser/The Apollo is an all-new original design combining a unique sounding, analog ,4-stage phaser circuit with our tap tempo controller. A wide array of features makes this a great sounding and versatile pedal, while a simple and straightforward layout keep it easy to use.A number of key features define the Apollo phaser. To start, the Apollo is equipped with our proprietary tap tempo microprocessor. As such, the effect's rate can be set using the speed knob, or tapped in via the tap foot-switch for greater accuracy. The pedal also features a tap multiplier with 1x, 2x, and 4x multiplier settings.Three distinct waveform settings, including sine, randomizer and manual settings, and eight different rhythmic modes via the Mode knob offer an infinite number of tonal textures and possibilities. In the randomizer setting, the Apollo applies stepped phase shifts at random intervals for truly creative tones while the Manual mode allows you to control the phase sweep itself either by foot using the expression pedal input or with the depth knob. Finally, the Apollo is equipped with Depth and Regen controls to dial in just the right amount of phasing texture and thickness. A standard 2.1mm 9vDC input jack is provided and true bypass switching rounds out the package. Our goal was to build a modern sounding phaser with innovative new features. We are very proud of the Apollo and we hope you enjoy!*Recommended Expression Pedal: Mission EP-1R, M-Audio EXP

SolidGoldFX Apollo Phaser

The Apollo is our choice take on Phase. With its warm analog 4-stage core, feature packed yet simple interface, and streamline aesthetic the Apollo is phasing reimagined. Equipped with our proprietary tap tempo microprocessor and tap multiplier the Apollo can quickly be adjusted to add a subtle motion to your playing or a rapid staccato swirl that lifts and drops you like an off track roller coaster. Three distinct waveform settings along with eight different rhythmic modes further expand the Apollo's tonal textures and possibilities. Use the Randomizer setting to punctuate your playing with magically inconsistent phase shifts or the Manual mode to control the phase sweep itself, via an external expression pedal, for the most unique take on wah you have ever heard. 1. musically diverse and effective pedal 5 Star Review

This phaser has so many options it's insane! I love vintage small stone but hate how glitchy they are. This pedal nails a classic sma stone as well as any other phaser tone you can think of! The 8 modes help and make you think in many diverse and useful musical settings, it's tons of fun! The random mode is great fun with some dirt and delay added. Tap tempo is a plus! Besides that the pedal is a great size and simply looks awesome, it's a must to expand on a classic effect!

  2. Excellent Versatile Phaser! 5 Star Review

I was looking for a phaser that could give me a reasonable range of sounds with some unique features that wasn't too complicated. I took a chance with the Apollo and it delivered! Although I love the various modes and tap tempo it is the Regen knob that really makes the Apollo a winner. It can get throbby and dark or glassy and bright depending on where I set it. To me that one feature made it really easy to dial in. I also found the Apollo worked well in front of or after my dirt pedals which has not been the case with some of the other phasers I have tried. Overall I am very happy with the Apollo.
