The WMD Geiger Counter is hundreds of entirely new face melting sounds. A high gain modern preamp drives an 8 bit computer, creating sounds which range from nice (tubey overdrive, lofi aliasing, hot gated leads) to total madness (impossible amounts of gain, multiple octave foldover, harsh digital data errors, and piercing sculpted noise). This is NOT a modeling pedal, it turns the fundamentals of digital into a source of extreme distortion.

I am thoroughly impressed with this pedal. Alot of pedals that try to cover strange sonic territory are made with very low quality and feel like toys. But the first thing I noticed with the Geiger Counter was the incredible quality in which it was manufactured.
The range of sounds in this pedal is staggering. I've never really dealt with such a learning curve with a stompbox before, although it can also just be plugged in and played.
It sounds great with everything, guitars, basses, drum machines, and synths. I love the CV capabilities, that really opens up the opportunity for sounds that feel alive and adapt movement. The only thing I could add to this pedal to make it better would be a blend control, in certain scenarios having a clean signal mixed in to balance out the madness could go a long way. But overall I am impressed by this pedal and actually want to buy it twice because it is so great.
